The Quer-Durchs-Land ticket is a convenient train ticket that lets you travel across Germany for a fixed price on regional trains! (NOT IC or ICE). Unless you have Interrail, that's usually a similar option in terms of price, and if your schedule goes awry, you can take a faster train. Luckily, I was lucky with this tour that all the trains were on time, but that's the exception rather than the rule in Germany... Later & Addict
