Reno Brothers and the First Train Robbery
The first train robbery in the world occurred on October 6, 1866 in Seymour, Indiana, by the Reno Brothers Gang. The story of this notorious theft and those who committed this infamous act were the subject of a talk by Curt Peters at the Floyd County Historical Society (New Albany, Indiana) on April 23rd, 2024.
