Join me as I take on Camelback Mountain, one of Phoenix, Arizona’s most iconic and challenging hikes! Rising 2,704 feet above the city, Camelback is known for its camel-shaped silhouette, rugged desert terrain, and 360-degree views — from downtown Phoenix all the way to the distant Superstition Mountains. The hike may only be a couple of miles, but with over 1,200 feet of elevation gain, steep rock scrambles, and the Arizona sun overhead, it’s a serious workout.
