Three Little Words | HTV West 1980

Last few minutes from a teatime gameshow called 'Three Little Words' created for the Harlech TV region by Roy Ward Dickson in 1967. Latterly revamped and hosted by Ray Alan (of Lord Charles fame) with his assistant Barbie; this edition was chaired by former radio DJ, Don Moss and was based on the US gameshow Password. Cue lots of serious eye movements, awkward silences and an annoying morse code. Not forgetting Sue Ann Snook (who?). For me, I can only watch this and think of Paul Coia and Catchword which was a completely different show but another word game later trying to compete with Yorkshire's Countdown dominance of the 1980s none-the-less!
