2025 Tesla Model 3 Performance - Las Vegas - 108°F Heat | Charging Stops, Hotels, Mount Charleston

We take our 2025 Tesla Model 3 Performance on an unforgettable road trip from Southern California to Las Vegas during extreme 108°F desert heat. To keep the cabin cool, we used ceramic window tint along with VION roof sunshades while planning our EV charging stops across the desert. 🚗 Road trip charging & stops: Barstow, CA – first Supercharger stop EddieWorld in Yermo, CA – restroom break and stretch stop Jean, NV Tesla Supercharger – located behind a massive Chevron with 96 pumps, food, snacks, burgers, and a beer cave Once we arrive in Las Vegas, we check into the Spark by Hilton Las Vegas Airport — a newly built hotel completed in late 2025. The rooms were modern, clean, and extremely comfortable with great showers and a beautiful night view of the Las Vegas Strip from the 5th floor. 🌄 Day 2 – Escaping the heat We head up to Mount Charleston to get away from the triple-digit temperatures and explore: The historic 1955 U.S. Air Force C-54 Skymaster crash site tied to classified Area 51-era operations and the CIA U-2 spy plane program A scenic desert overlook with temperatures in the high 70s and a refreshing hike in the mountains Afterwards, we visit the Shelby American Museum in Las Vegas — free admission, fully air-conditioned, and packed with legendary cars and motorsport history. 🏁 Day 3 – Heading home We begin our return journey back to Los Angeles: Heavy desert traffic with a long standstill crawl Rest stop break along the highway Final Supercharger stop in Barstow, CA before the last stretch back to Glendale, CA After an incredible trip, we make it home safely and reflect on an amazing experience shared together.
