Sardinien 4: Das Beste im Süden - Strände, Flamingos, Cagliari - Im Wohnmobil mit Hunden On The Road

On our trip through Sardinia, we reached the south of the island. It's teeming with award-winning dream beaches, which our dogs and we gratefully take advantage of, as it's already incredibly hot in Sardinia in the second half of June. Fortunately, you never have to search far for the next sandy swimming spot on this wonderful island. Even spotting wild flamingos in the south of Sardinia doesn't require any special local knowledge: They're simply everywhere where there are shallow lagoons beyond the sea. We eventually saw so many of these birds that we considered roasting one. At the very bottom of the island lies the island's capital, Cagliari. Its old town, perched on a hill and surrounded by mighty walls, is a particularly impressive sight. Without knowing that the very best was yet to come, we were already convinced that Sardinia had secured a place at the top of our travel hit list.
