Why A-ha was one of the best Rock band (in the 90's). 9 reasons that may change your perception
Norwegian trio A-ha is famous for iconic take on me and the way they represent the sound of the 80's, specially with their first album Hunting high and low. That's well deserved. However fewer are aware of other sides of this complex band explored by the musicians throughout their ongoing very long career. During the (too) short period of 4 years between 1990 and somewhere in 1994 the band went into deep soulful folkrock exploration returning to the songwriter Magne and Pal's roots musically: the Doors, Janis Joplin, Hendrix... The 2 albums that were born in this period and the live tours that followed represent a major peak in the band's history in terms of songwritting, live energy and live presence and delivery. For me and i know and I'm not the only one i think that may be their greatest musical achievement. This video aims to showcase the not so well known rock side of A-ha. I hope you'll like; Enjoy Swa
