【Pls look at the top comment first】Paris, a newcomer of melodic rock/melodic hard rock project from France, formed by singer & keyboardist Frederic Dechevanne and guitarist Sebastien Montet, coming out in recent years. People overseas maybe do not know much about rock n roll in France because French people leave impressions of romance and elegance. On the other hand, everyone can rock wherever you are and fall in love with French rockers. Does anyone know the band Fisc and Silence(ft. Bruno Levesque)? They are so amazing. This time the two men's project Paris brings rock spirits on your mind. The genre of Paris combines melodic rock with hard rock, which you can consider as melodic hard rock or what I called solid aor. This song is selected from the second album "The World Outside" of Paris released in 2016 while their debut "Only One Life" was released in 2013. The brown-haired man in the picture is Frederic, who has a powerful voice and a strong build whlie the other man with iron-grey hair is Sebastien. From Paris' works, they sounds modern both in arrangements and music route like Newman and Street Talk (This Broken Heart by Paris & Tables Turning by Street Talk). Some of the tracks do remind me of Newman because of Frederic's voice. Coincidentally, Steve Newman was invited to play on backing vocals, additional guitar on "Unreachable" and producer. Besides, many guest musicians overseas all made contributions to this album on backing vocals, bass and drums. Also, I love the guitar works by Sebastien, what a skilled and underrated player, perfectly mixed with bright keys by Frederic. Compared to their debut, I highly recommend this one, very pleasant and inspiring for you to enjoy. #MelodicRock #aor #HardRock
