Bajamos a la barranca y encontramos un pueblo INDIGENA abandonado | Zacatecas

In this final episode of the series, the Exploring Zacatecas team bids farewell to the Huichol community with an unforgettable adventure. 🌄 Taking advantage of the fact that it's not yet the rainy season, we descend to the bottom of the canyon to hike along the river amidst breathtaking landscapes, surrounded by nature, birdsong, and a completely wild atmosphere. During the trek, we encounter a tree embedded between enormous boulders, as if nature had fused it with the rock. Further along, a rather unfriendly bull tests our mettle by refusing to let us pass 😳🐂. We also discover vestiges of what was once a small indigenous village, as well as remnants that remind us of the harshness of life in these places. Beto tries to call the wild turkeys with calls, while we continue onward until we reach the base of an impressive waterfall (dry for now), where we pause to rest and contemplate the surroundings. On the way back, the adventure continues: we encounter a huge black scorpion 🦂, and Jorge shares a traditional remedy they use for stings; we learn from Jorge about the stone used to make lime (like the lime used for nixtamal), and we discover the pochote tree, along with the effects of its thorns. The day ends with teamwork 💪: we help haul a 100-meter hose up the ravine, and once in the community, we witness children and adults working together to make adobe bricks and build their homes. Finally, Romualdo and Beto help by bringing more water to continue this important process. 👉 Don't forget to subscribe, like, and share to continue supporting this type of content. #ExploringZacatecas #Huichol #MonteEscobedo #Canyon #Exploration #RuralLife If you know of any interesting places to explore, send us a message on WhatsApp. 494 949 1969
