A long-term campervan trip during summer vacation! Our planned trip to Shikoku was canceled due to a natural disaster the day before. We quickly changed plans and headed to Tohoku in midsummer. This was the ultimate unplanned trip, with nothing decided yet, including the route and where to stay. Our third installment is a trip to Nyuto Onsen and Lake Tazawa in Akita. We enjoyed miso tampo (rice dumplings), sesame pufferfish, and other delicious food and breathtaking views. It was supposed to be the best trip ever... But what exactly attacked Sani-chan?!
