In the Waltorf Batoria: Teddy Gelert and Cinders

Random footage in Mandi's aviary: the Old Dudes become sunflowers on their trip outside from the warm hospital cages to the aviary in the mornings. During the random occasional warm winter sunshine (on the rare non rainy days of our current La Niña weather pattern), the old dudes blossom like sunflowers just being able to bask in the sun. We have Gelert, Cinders and Teddy in Mandi's arms. Mandi is doing holiday care for some permanent care batties and she is unable to name them all, so you get to enjoy random batty aviary clips with the usual glider fugitives lurking around, stealing the batty fruit. Teddy is being harassed by one of the old dudes (I think it's Gelert). He yells at old girl Sheila (who doesn't come inside at night), asking if she missed him overnight. Spoiler alert - she didn't. Sheila has little time for the old boys and prefers her own company. Jake continues to settle into the aviary, awaiting his permanent care position. He passed one test by not biting Mandi's fingers because they smelled of fruit. He has very limited sight, but is dealing well with his disability. He was in the aviary with the late younger babies awaiting release in Spring; they were all taking advantage of him but he still managed to get his share of the food. Thanks Mandi for the footage.
