In this video I cover the replacement procedure for the 5th gen 4runner and the FJ cruiser models with the updated 1GR-FE engine. The 2007-2009 FJ cruise had a different version of the 1GR-FE engine that was similar to previous the previous 4runner generation with the old 1GR-FE This is a very simple and easy job and only requires very basic hand tools and should be carried out every 120,000 miles or 10 years whichever comes first.
