Adding LITHIUM BATTERIES to our OFF GRID DIY CAMPERVAN BUILD.. plus.. van tours with Emily. Specifically Lithium power as we upgrade our DIY campervan electrical system to include eco tree lithium batteries! During our van build, the campervan electrical system was the hardest thing i had to get my head around but one thing I definitely understand about building any off grid van or motorhome is the constant need for power! Hopefully in this video I can cover, in understandable terms, why lithium batteries are more efficient, will charge quicker, are extremely safe AND, importantly to us, so so much lighter.. every kilo counts in a self built campervan! If you are struggling for power or wish to stay off grid for longer then I'd definitely consider making the switch, these lithium batteries are charging from limited solar (grey British weather) much quicker than our old AGMs ever did and if you are at the start of your build or modifying and existing motorhome then we can't recommend these enough!
