Cedar Point's Winter Chill Out 2026

In today's vlog, we braved the cold temperatures to visit ‪@CedarPointVideos‬ for their annual Winter Chill Out charity event to help benefit ‪@AkidagainOrg‬ This event gives people a chance to walk around Cedar Point during their offseason and check out a few places that the general public are not allow to visit and be the first ones to hear what is going on for the new season, plus get a sneak preview of all the new merchandise. Some of the newer stops for this year were the maintenance areas for Siren's Curse and Iron Dragon. After two years of having an up-close look at Millennium Force, this year we had an up-close look into Maverick's tunnel. Some of the highlights from this year's Q&A were 1) Frontier Trail bathrooms are being updated. 2) Both Starbucks locations inside the park and at Hotel Breakers are being remodeled. 3) The Pagoda Gift Shop is being updated and there will be an opening to connect to the Sweet Spot candy store. 4)Since the United States is turning 250 years old this year, the park is having a week long celebration entitled "Star-Spangled Celebration" from June 29 - July 4 with all new shows, special acts and the biggest fireworks show in the park's history. 5) For veterans, there will be now dedicated veteran parking spots up near the front of the park. 6) Pipescream no longer classified as a rollercoaster (finally). 7) Meta Glasses and any other type of smart glasses are now allowed on rides as long as they're secured with a strap.
