If you’re looking for a great investment, that you can actually have fun with while the value grows, this is the ticket! The guitar has been refretted, the nut has been replaced (but the original is included) and the lower tone control is not presently working. (who uses that lower tone anyway?!) She’s otherwise all original and ready to rock your world! Here is the lowdown on the features: Model: Stratocaster Color: Sunburst Body: Alder Neck: Maple, bolt-on Fretboard: Brazilian rosewood Inlays: Clay dots Pickups: 3 Strat single coils, original Sept 1964 stamp on the backs Controls: Master volume, 2 tone, 3-way switch Bridge: Strat tremolo, includes the trem bar Machine Heads: Original Fender vintage tuners Headstock: Transition logo, pre-CBS Hardware: Nickel Pick-guard: 3-ply, mint green Scale Length: 25-1/2" (648 mm) Weight: 7.9 lbs. Serial # L34505 She was born in 1964 and has been well played over the past 55 years. The date on the neck is July of 1964 and the stamp on the backs of the pickups is Sept of 1964. The guitar has been refretted, the nut has been replaced, but the original nut is also included. Also, the lower tone control is not presently functioning. There is plenty of wear throughout, as you can plainly see in the pics. There is tracing of evidence where some tape has been on the guitar and removed. On the front, there is still a small piece of black tape in place. Also included is the original case which also has plenty of wear, and the two outer latches are missing. Regardless of the wear, this is a monster vintage guitar in great playing shape. Whoever brings this baby home is gonna be STOKED!!
