"I'm spleeping over tonight - Costa Rica" / When Antoine set off to film the Costa Rica episode while the COVID-19 crisis was still ongoing, the country was one of the few to have kept its borders open. The globetrotter begins his journey in San José, the capital. Here, everyone is wearing a mask, and he realizes it will be difficult to visit people’s homes. But he runs into Edouardo, and to say the least, the pandemic doesn’t seem to worry him much. In Jaco, on the Pacific coast, Antoine notices that there are underground parties, but he prefers to head into the mountains. In a village, his curiosity is piqued by an odd animal crossing the road. This is the starting point of his encounter with Mauricio, a horseman who takes him home. Then he heads to the Caribbean coast, where people are much more relaxed. Antoine ventures inland, toward the indigenous reserves. It is there that he meets Marcelino, sitting in the street mending a shoe. Marcelino introduces him to his small family.
