*Rare Units* - Chief 10, AIR 2, Rehab 1, and Others Arriving to Working Residential Fire

07/05/26 - On Sunday evening, Engines 44 and 36, Truck 35, Quint 48, Squad 1, Rescue 44, Rescue 48, Captain 7, Battalion 3, and Battalion 7 were dispatched to 8902 Buena Place reference a lightning strike to a 3-story building in the Buena Vista Place Apartments. Upon arrival, E44 found heavy smoke showing and was not able to confirm if the structure had been fully evacuated, and residents had said that there were multiple dogs and cats missing. A second alarm was sounded and Orange County dispatched Engines 32, 34, 37, 41, 43, and 56, Quint 31, Squad 3, Rescue 31, Medic 9, Captain 2, Mobile Command 1, Rehab 1, AIR 2, Chief 10, and UAS 2. One person was transported to the hospital and all pets were rescued, except for one cat unaccounted for who ran out of the building during the evacuation.
