We will also be practicing turning right from a mayor road into a minor road and I will be showing you common mistakes people generally make when turning right. Compared to turning left, turning right has so many other factors to take into account such as oncoming traffic and right of way to oncoming vehicles. When we get the direction that we are turning right, this is when you will apply your MSPSL or MSMM routine. When turning right into a side road we check our inside mirror then outside right mirror, signal our intent to other road users to the right and then position to the centre line or where the centre line should be. Now this is where it gets interesting, we need to position our car dead straight in line with the centre line and drive in a straight line up to the right turn. When we are in position, next we need to slow with the break, into 2nd gear and off the clutch and we need to look to the right for correct observation turning right. https://forms.aweber.com/form/39/1293... How we do this is by steering to the right when the front of our car is in line with the centre line of the road we are driving into. A common grade 2 mistake when turning right would be cutting the corner and this happens when we steer right too early and potentially drive on the wrong side of the road.
