Osaka Comic-Con 2025, a pop culture festival featuring Japanese and American movies, manga, games, and more, is taking place. This time, Nicolas Cage, star of films such as "Face/Off," "National Treasure," and "Con Air," visited Japan! He participated in a talk show. Amidst thunderous cheers, he greeted the crowd in Japanese, saying, "Good morning! Thank you very much!" When asked by Japanese fans for a message, he said, "My wife is Rico, and we met in Shiga. She asked me to sing this song, so I'll sing it." He then danced in Japanese, singing, "Oden, udon, udon, oden, happiness, happiness." This was Nicolas' first time appearing at a Japanese Comic-Con. "I love Japan. I fell in love here, and my wife is Japanese. That's why I was so excited to meet Japanese fans. I also respect Japanese film directors. Miike, Sakamoto, and Koreeda are all incredible. As a fan of Japanese films, I'm so happy to be here," he said, expressing his joy at his beloved country. Also appearing was Akio Otsuka, who provides Nicholas's Japanese voice acting. When he performed "Drive..." in front of Nicholas, Nicholas smiled and said, "Thank you."
