After spending the winter in the warmth of the Middle East in Jordan and Saudi Arabia, we’re heading back north again. We’re now back in Turkey. This time in the east among the Kurds, at the foot of Mount Ararat. It’s really cold here and snowing—a huge contrast to the weather in Saudi Arabia. We also happened to stumble upon a local wedding and the Nawruz festival, the Kurdish celebration of spring, so spring really is just around the corner. We are traveling in a van in search of adventure! We started in Prague 🇨🇿, continued through Slovakia🇸🇰, Hungary 🇭🇺, Serbia 🇷🇸, Bulgaria 🇧🇬, Turkey 🇹🇷, Iraq, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and currently in Turkey again, this time in the east with the Kurds. We hope to travel through the entire Middle East over the winter and cross the Caucasus in the spring to reach China 🇨🇳. Will we make it?
