The People's History Show - S03E01 Who came up with the phrase "Beatlemania?" In 1963 The Beatles were back touring Scotland, this time they had 3 numbers ones under their belt. At the Caird Hall in Dundee, local promoter Andi Lothian spontaneous invented the phrase Beatlemania. It has been used the world over ever since.
