Since there's no spring in where I live, I'm not certain if this is a real festival or not. [2] Beizhou means "Northern State". [3] Xingmu (translated to gavel) is a commonly used prop in Chinese performances. [4] I didn't translate 仙灵 to 'fairy' because fairy is more closely related to European folklores, and 仙灵 itself can be spiritual beings that went through centuries of spiritual practice, with a goal to become one of the divines.
