Comanche Diaries – Episode 1 | Day One in Alaska This is the beginning of something new. In this first episode of the Comanche Diaries, I’m getting familiar with the A2A Simulations Comanche in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024. No tutorial. No pretending to be an expert. Just a careful walkaround, first start, and my honest first impressions. We’re starting this journey in Alaska — a place that demands respect from both pilot and machine. Today is about awareness. Preflight checks. Understanding what I’m looking at. Listening to the engine. Learning what “normal” feels like. This isn’t about mastering the aircraft yet. It’s about building trust with it.
