Jeep 392 - Critical Gear Oil Change; Transfer Case, Front and Rear Differentials, TrailRecon Failure
Recently Brad of TrailRecon and 392forum members have experienced early transfer case failure needing replacement. Several others have found their factory gear oil levels to be significantly lower than minumum. I take preventive measure at 6100 miles to change these 3 gear oils and observe what comes out. Oil is cheap, gear sets are not. This is a messy job and when oil splashed on my camera phone I stopped filming, apologies for missing some footage
