Phil Combs has a family history in NASCAR with both his parents working in the sport and archiving items of the era. Located in his backyard, is the Combs Family Museum! It is just a normal 30x60 garage that seems unassuming on the outside but is PACKED with racing artifacts, documents, and memorabilia! Phil's father Roby Combs was a flagman in the early days of NASCAR competition and his mother sold tickets to races. They began this collection with Phil was a young boy preserving programs and brochures from some of the earliest races in NASCAR history. Over the years Phil's collection has grown through donations and items on loan from the greater racing community to feature artifacts from Jack Ingram to AJ Foyt!
