POWER RANGERS RED: JASON FAUNT AND BRENNAN MEJÍA AT COMIC BOOK DAY - PRESS CONFERENCE - FULL VIDEO The Power Rangers will be at Comic Book Day Festival! Americans Jason Faunt and Brennan Mejía, known for playing the Red Power Ranger in the "Power Rangers: Time Force" and "Power Rangers: Dino Charge" seasons, respectively, will participate in the country's biggest entertainment event. The festival, celebrating its 15th anniversary, will take place from Thursday, May 1st to Sunday, May 4th on Avenida La Peruanidad (Campo de Marte), in Jesús María, from noon to 9 p.m. Tickets are now available through Joinnus. Jason Faunt He landed his most notable role as Alex Drake, the Red Ranger in "Power Rangers Time Force" in 2001. His character was a time traveler from the future who led a team of rangers to stop the villain Ransik. "The Power Rangers audition process is very, very complex. In fact, it was the longest process I've ever had, so I'd say it was five auditions in three months," he says, recalling that important stage of his career. Brennan Mejia After working on several series as a guest star or in pilots that weren't picked up, he got his chance with "Power Rangers Dino Charge" when he was cast as Tyler Navarro. "I was about to quit acting, since I had just started college, but a friend suggested I audition for the Rangers. So I went for it, and a few months later I was on my way to New Zealand to film!" he says. The Comic Book Day Festival will feature different activities each day for all fans to enjoy, with over 100 shops selling a variety of merchandise for entertainment collectors, as well as exhibits of collectibles and live music from the Symphony Orchestra performing the best anime themes and a special tribute to the band BTS. In addition, there will be themed zones for fans, K-pop, photos, gaming, medieval themes, and local artists who will share moments with attendees and showcase their work; exciting mascot battles; cosplay contests; and exhibitor presentations.
