Manhattan, New York 1981

A tour of Manhattan in 1981, street shots, people, buildings including the twin towers World Trade Centre and a cruise to the Statue of Liberty, Circle Line ferry, a mounted Policeman, and night shots. The zipper controls for the Midori sign were from Time-O-Matic's "Copy Changer" which dated back to when it was first put into service in 1969 when Canadian Club was still there. The Coke zipper, after 1979, was controlled by Time-O-Matic's newer, computer-based "Public Information Display" system (before then, it had been a Trans-Lux "Adcast").
