Il ritrovamento del teatro ellenistico di Agrigento. La fine di una lunga ricerca
The Hellenistic theater of the city of Akragas, in the Valley of the Temples in Agrigento, was discovered in 2016. Known from sources, it had been sought for centuries, but, stripped to its foundations, it was never found. Now, ongoing excavations are revealing its history, with an interesting functional addition, perhaps linked to the city's first Christian places of worship.
