T-shirt screen printing record shattered by M&R Challenger III D J4 automatic screen printing press

Screen printer Omar Viera used M&R's new Challenger III D J4 Automatic Screen Printing Press to set a new world record of 2139 T-shirts printed in one hour by a single operator. The event took place on June 28 at FESPA 2013 in London. The result eclipsed the previous record (also held by Mr. Viera) by 230 T-shirts. Other M&R screen printing equipment contributing to the record attempt were the Passport Automatic T-shirt Unloader and Fusion electric conveyor dryer. Rich Hoffman, M&R's CEO, said, "In 2010, Omar proved he was an elite screen printer. And we knew we had a phenomenal automatic screen printing press in the concept Challenger III D J4. But we also knew everything would have to go perfectly for Omar to set a new world record in London—much less to shatter the old record the way he did today.
