Even allowing for the missing commercials, this episode at 44 minutes is cut. However, we still get the usual excellent musical and television production we expect from Mr. Welk. Among other things, for example Alice is obviously there but no song. In the cute Lennon's number I thought Diane woke the sleeping Janet perhaps little too aggressively maybe? ha,ha Janet even gives her a quick "Hey" look. I suspect some sisterly squabbling back in the dressing room. ha,ha Jerry Burke's 25 years with the band is noted. Enjoy the show. • Lawrence Welk Collection
