I've flirted with the idea of this cover finally existing for a long time now, and this year really felt like the right time to make it happen. In part, due to Raven, the creator of the character, becoming such a capable writer herself, and becoming adamant on doing these songs justice. Some of the lyrics in Faker date back to earlier attempts made by me in 2022, 2023 and 2024, while Raven redid some parts to make it more in character. These lyrics are considered canon in the sense that they're in character and based on the current canon of this story. The writing in both songs is rich with glimpses into Faker's motivations and character, and Raven especially should be proud of how well he's portrayed here. When we became sure this was happening, we got the band of the original mod back together to remake the entire Faker section of the mod, redoing all the assets in Nightmare Vision engine. The only assets from the original are Divide's sprite art, which were kept in his memory. Madzilla, Jamangar, and Rekka, who all worked on this part of the original mod, contributed to this video. The design of BF is based on the design BF was meant to have in the mod that was scrapped. In terms of audio, I made mashups of 2 versions of both songs to use as the instrumentals. I think the result is a strong version of both. I'm really proud of my performance in Faker, I think it shows just how far my singing has come since the last time I touched anything from this mod. Sturm, as always, delivered and then some on his performance. Being the official voice of the character, casting him was a no brainer. (Funnily enough, he's been in every video that has these RAMBLEs so far.) Visually, I sort of went back to basics with the video editing, trying to emulate the original exe covers while still combining it with my newer editing style. The thumbnail by Rekka is a perfect fit for the cover, and the art panels by Shefki are GORGEOUS. They tie the video together so perfectly. Please go support the team on the socials I've linked!! This is also the first time an upload of mine has been a tie in to a stream. We held off on doing PART 2 of our Mega Collection stream until this project was done, and we made the stream directly lead into this video's premiere. I think that was a great way to build some hype, and we had lots of fun at the stream and premiere. Overall, some of the best FNF related content to be found here on the channel and I'm absolutely happy with the result.
