Oktava MK-012-20 Microphone Kit with MK-102

UPDATE: As promised, Oktava USA sent me the wooden box which is absolutely gorgeous in my opinion. I gladly exchanged it for the plastic box. This video is about trying out the Russian made Oktava MK-012-20 Microphone Kit for the first time and it’s various capsules. This particular kit includes a wooden jewelers foam lined case or hard plastic foam lined case, small diaphragm cardioid, omnidirectional, and hypercardioid capsules along with the MK-102 large diaphragm cardioid capsule. Finally, this kit comes with a -10dB pad to tame those overly loud sounds and a mic clip. Spoiler Alert, absolutely love this mic and the great quality audio that comes out of it! In my opinion, everything in this kit is high quality and well-built. Highly Recommend! If purchased separately, all items in this kit would cost approximately $200 - $300 (USD) more than the kit cost itself. IMPORTANT NOTE: All MK-012-20 Mic kits with MK-101 and MK-102 capsules in them, come with the MK-012 body labeled as the large diaphragm capsule MK-102.
