We're in Orocovis, in the heart of Puerto Rico's Central Mountain Range, facing the impressive Cerro Mime, a mountain approximately 2,874 feet above sea level. The climb is demanding, but from its summit, you get some of the most spectacular panoramic views on the entire island. Will the challenge be worth it? Join me and find out. Although the information regarding the ascent of this mountain describes it as moderately difficult, it wasn't so moderate. There are several areas or paths that can be dangerous due to their proximity to the edges. The cobblestone and dirt path creates some difficulty in maintaining stability during the ascent, but reaching the summit is definitely an adventure and a personal challenge that will bring you great satisfaction.
