This was, hands down, the hardest thing we’ve ever done. Did we make it to the summit? Well… the title might give it away, but trust me, the journey was full of unexpected twists. Rinjani—the second-highest volcano in Indonesia—towering over 3,726 meters above sea level. When we looked up this hike, no one seemed to capture what it really takes to summit this beast.
