The Range Rover Sport has long been the SUV to buy if you want a near-perfect blend of luxury, performance, space and sportiness. The latest 2023 model (launched in late-2022), aims to continue that tradition, while also offering more in the way of electrification than any of its predecessors. To that end, two plug-in hybrid versions of the Range Rover Sport are offered, each with an official electric range of 70 miles (think more like 60 miles in real world driving) thanks to a 38kWh battery. For many people that'll mean it's possible to drive the Range Rover Sport as a pure EV for much of the time – and once you're out of charge there's a silky smooth 3.0-litre straight-six petrol engine to fall back on.
