How to Paint Flowers | Acrylic Painting Tutorial

Learn how to paint flowers in this, step by step, acrylic painting tutorial with artist Ashley Krieger. This lesson is taught in a way that will be easy enough for beginner artists. It is a fun loosely painted floral that is playful and therapeutic to paint. In this art tutorial, I give you an art lesson on the differences between acrylic inks, soft body, heavy body, and gouache paints. For a guide, below is a brief description of each: Heavy Body Paints- Are thick, create texture, and act more like oil paints. Soft Body Paints- Don't create texture and level out. Acrylic Inks -Are runny. Great for dripping, splattering and doing watercolor techniques. Acrylic Gouache - These are like soft body but dry matte and create solid color. Acrylic Mediums - These can be added to any paint type you have to change your paints character into whatever you want. There are several mediums to choose from.
