Trucco per una Siliconatura Perfetta!!!

Silicone application is one of those necessary tasks in homes; learning the technique will help you achieve quality work. Silicone application may be necessary for shower enclosures, for finishing above baseboards, around door trims, and for other finishing jobs. A first tip is to cut the tip of the nozzle slightly diagonally, so the caulk will flow out precisely. In this video, we apply silicone between the baseboard and the wall. It's important that the baseboard is free of dust and dry; consider cleaning it before applying the caulk. When applying the caulk, use a fluid, continuous motion for a length of 80-100 cm, continuing with the same technique until the entire wall is covered. Afterward, you can use a spray bottle with water and mist a little water along the entire line of the applied caulk. Then, use your finger or a template to remove the excess caulk. Using a spray bottle allows you to extend the drying time and therefore better manage the process. The next step is to clean the excess caulk from the baseboard with a slightly damp microfiber cloth, being careful not to remove the caulk from the corner. Another option is to place masking tape along the entire baseboard line close to the wall, spacing it 2 mm, to create a straight line. Spread the caulk along the baseboard, remove the excess caulk, and remove the masking tape to finish the job. Remember, too, that the baseboard must be clean and dry. Follow either of these two techniques and you'll have a perfect seal.
