Fly fishing for Brown trout on the Upper Deschutes river

Sometimes - especially when trying a new spot - you feel like you have no idea what you are doing. In fact, I think I spend a lot of time feeling this way. Things turned out alright but I spent most of the time feeling bewildered, contemplating another hobby, and thinking what the hell am I doing here?
