But a motorbike takes you to your front door — that single design truth shapes how Saigon lives, works, and breathes. From the Vespas of the 1950s, to the Honda 67s that rebuilt the city after the war, to the Honda Dreams parked outside the same door for twenty years — every layer of Saigon's history is written on two wheels. But the city is changing. New metro lines. Electric buses. A Saigon with fewer motorbikes may be cleaner and quieter.
