The homeowner has a taste for unique and unusual things, but what stands in their way is the 'District Unit Plan'? A house that brings joy to everyone, from the residents to the viewers—the Tale of the Turtle and the Cow! A couple who installed a 'dining elevator' in their home because grocery shopping was difficult? The spine-chilling twist inside the fairytale 'rabbit house' built to navigate the strict new city building codes. In the residential development district of Namyangju New City, Gyeonggi Province, there is an unusual house that captures the attention of the neighborhood residents. On the outside, it looks like just a cute rabbit house straight out of a fairy tale, but looking inside reveals a "ruthless house" that completely shatters the downsides of an apartment and realizes the homeowner's fierce dreams. "I aged eight years trying to fulfill all of my wife's dreams." It was a stroke of genius to boldly sacrifice the first-floor living room and place the bedrooms there to prevent "invasion of privacy," a fatal flaw of densely packed housing in residential districts! On top of that, a "dumbwaiter" (a restaurant elevator) was installed to lift heavy loads from the parking garage to the second-floor kitchen and up to the third floor in one go, revolutionizing the movement required for household chores. The most overwhelming twist is the third-floor rooftop. Abandoning the wooden structure, they poured in massive thicknesses of rebar and concrete to design a load-bearing roof, then placed a massive outdoor swimming pool for the children right on the roof.
