Glen Hansard performs The Parting Glass at Glucksman Ireland House NYU

Grammy-nominated and Oscar-winning singer, songwriter, and actor Glen Hansard comes to Glucksman Ireland House NYU to talk about music and songwriting. In this segment, Glen dedicates an a cappella version of The Parting Glass to Liam Clancy, who performed in the same spot in 2009. Glen also talks about Glucksman Ireland House NYU's Jack B. Yeats painting, The Fighting Dawn, on loan from the O'Malley Family and the video ends with outtakes of Glen with the painting and members of the Ireland House faculty. Camera and sound: Matthew E.
