CLIP: Twin Peaks: "Angelo Badalamenti explains how he wrote Laura Palmer's Theme" ARTIST: Angelo Badalamenti WRITER: Angelo Badalamenti (1990) This is a transcription of the performance by composer Angelo Badalementi (1937–2022) which was part of the making-of documentary, "Secrets from Another Place: Creating Twin Peaks" (2007), released on the Twin Peaks: Definitive Gold Box Edition, and later uploaded to YouTube. Angelo Badalementi reenacts the 'scene' when he and David Lynch conjured up this picturesque theme, and his intense narration adds a whole new aspect enhancing the music. This theme is surprisingly easy to play, so this piece is an ideal beginner's piece for any fan of Twin Peaks.
