A Well Made "Poor Man's Sword" - D-Guard Bowie Knife by Windlass Steelcrafts

This is either a short sword or a very long knife, depending on how you want to look at it. Either way, it's an affordable, functional reproduction, and here is my testing and review of it. It's a peened full-tang construction made of unknown high carbon steel (possibly 1085 or 1095). The blade did well when cutting soaked tatami mats, and it was impressively solid during harder tests, chopping dead wood. Handles nicely, with light weight and proper balance. Overall easy to recommend for the price ($70-80 USD).
