The DISGUSTING Crimes Of Irma Grese - The 'Beautiful' Beast

Following the Second World War, a number of trials took place to bring those perpetrators of crimes against humanity to justice. The Belsen Trials took place and on trial were dozens of former SS staff and guards at camps such as Bergen-Belsen and Auschwitz. Amongst the defendants was a 22 year old woman who was regarded as 'The Beautiful Beast,' or 'The Hyena of Auschwitz.' Irma Grese was on trial, and her appearance shocked the world as it showed that at such a young age there were trained killers and evil violent guards inside of the concentration camps. Irma Grese initially trained to work as a concentration camp guard at Ravensbruck, and all female camp but then as persecution continued she was transferred across to Auschwitz. Whilst here she gained a notorious reputation for murder and sadism aimed at the prisoners of the camp. Grese would patrol armed with her dog that had been trained to kill, and she set her dog on prisons and killed many in this way. She would torture the prisoners who were working, randomly shooting a number with her pistol and she was greatly feared. She was also involved in the selection process where prisoners were sent immediately to their deaths, and it's estimated that Grese was responsible for the deaths of thousands. For such a young woman she was incredibly violent. At her trial, she was confronted with a huge amount of evidence that showed her to be a violent killer and a barbaric guard. Because of her crimes she was sentenced to death and was executed inside of Hamelin Prison by Albert Pierrepoint, the famous British executioner.
