Will AI Kill Photography? The Truth Photographers Need to Hear
AI is changing photography very fast. Today, tools like Generative Fill, Midjourney, Grok Imagine, and other AI image generators can create stunning images in seconds. So the big question is: Will AI kill photography? In this video, I share my honest thoughts as a photographer with years of real-world experience. AI can remove backgrounds, replace skies, create fake product shots, and generate cinematic images. But photography is not just about creating an image. Photography is about real moments, real emotions, trust, timing, and human connection. A wedding photographer does not just press the shutter. He notices the bride’s nervous smile, the groom’s expression, the parents’ emotions, and small moments that happen only once. That is where human creativity still matters. AI is powerful, but it should be seen as a tool, not an enemy. Photographers who learn to use AI may become more creative and more efficient. But photographers who ignore it completely may struggle in the future.
