Hiking Mount Amagi in Japan with my son Keiji (just 8 years old)

Located in Shizuoka Prefecture on the Izu Peninsula, the Amagi Mountains are a haven of natural beauty. In the summer of 2021, Keiji, my stepson, and I set out to explore this picturesque region. Despite being just 8 years old, Keiji's heart and determination are boundless. Our adventure led us up Banjirodake and Banzaburodake, following the Shakunage loop route, with our journey commencing at the Amagikogen Golf Course. 0:00 - Intro 1:37 - Hiking to the Peak 14:00 - Lunch at the Peak 17:10 - The way back down 26:04 - Bloopers ‘runAway Japan' was created by Dean Newcombe, supported by a team of dedicated creators.
