Here’s me and Thomas Lang performing ‘Triggered’ - probably the most daring and drum focused song towards my solo album ‘Steezy’. You can find ‘Triggered’ on all major streaming platforms now! 🤘🏻 The goal here was to compose two unique drum parts that interlock perfectly when played together. With this in mind, it was a real challenge to create a piece that could host this kind of drum part without the song feeling imbalanced or overloaded. A lot of work went into the preparation of this one, but it was so awesome doing something different and working with Thomas - hopefully you guys enjoy it too! 🥳 As per usual, there are no triggers or samples used in any way AT ALL in the production of this track, all audio and video was recorded in one take (no miming), nothing has been snapped to grid, and all of the above applies to both me and Thomas 👊🏻 I personally LOVE how you can hear the difference between the two kits, it’s like a direct comparison between DW’s wooden and metal drums!
