The Forgotten History of Sheffield's Woodland Park [] Glen Howe Park Rediscovered
We first came across the story of Glen Howe Park when researching for our video on the building of the Ewden Valley Dams. A packhorse bridge was painstakingly taken down and removed to the park rather than be enveloped by the reservoir waters. Upon further investigation Glen Howe Park proved to have been a thriving visitor attraction for many generations of people from Sheffield and the surrounding area. Glen Howe Park really is a hidden Sheffield gem well worth discovering for yourself.
