This is some of the only footage of King Crimson performing live in 1974, and it is thankfully front row as Ron was able to swap his 8th row ticket with a front row seat. The result is some of the best amateur concert film we have ever seen, and we are so grateful to be able to release it for the world to enjoy! Ron also filmed 3 minutes of the opening band, Grin, which was Nil Lofgren's band before he joined Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band. As unfortunately, there is no audio recording for either Grin's or King Crimson's set from this evening, I have utilized a total of six audience tapes in order to sync the footage as accurately as possible. While some shots still unfortunately look strange, hopefully one day a recording from this show will surface. We will be taking a short break from posting, and will be back in May with more amazing, unseen footage.
