Is Hisoka Contributing to the Myth of Gay Child Molesters
Hisoka is the antagonist of the manga/anime series, HunterXHunter and is popularly believed to be pansexual. However, Hisoka also shows some sexual interest in the two main characters of the show, Gon and Killua, who are both underage boys. This is problematic, not only because Hisoka is a pedophile but because it reinforces a stereotype that gay men are child molesters.
